My name is Sal. I’m a full-time Paramedic and a part-time stay-at-home-dad. Together with my wife, Amelia, we are on a journey to Achieve Minerva. That is, true personal freedom.

True personal freedom is best achieved, in our opinion, with financial independence as the foundation. Money may not be able to buy happiness, but it does buy time. Time allows us to be free from work, free from unnecessary stress, and free to build the life we want.

Financial Independence requires some basic math and some logistics. Many other brands are out there to help you get into the weeds of the numbers. While we do talk about the math, what we want to highlight is the lifestyle that can from from removing the shackles of the office.

If the math and the numbers are the knowledge, the weapon, we try to provide some of the wisdom, the whetstone needed to wield it well. Minerva was the goddess of wisdom in ancient Rome.
